At Äleklinta, "alvaret" reaches all the way to the slope where the land throws itself straight down into the sea.

In the southwest, Borgholm's castle rises over the bay. In the evening you can enjoy a beautiful sunset over Kalmarsund. In Äleklinta, the coastal road that extends all the way to Byrum begins, a distance of just over 30 kilometers. A narrow gravelled road winds its way nort, there the view is magnificent over Kalmarsund in the west and the pasture meadows in the east.
